The Fall family fun activites begin this weekend!

Fall is finally here and with it comes an array of different activities in Raleigh to get you in the
spirit of the season!
Pullen Arts Center offers the perfect immersion into Fall with their Fall Arts Fair on the Pullen Arts Center lawn from 10 am to 5 pm on October 15th. The event is free to the public and features art activities and demonstrations by printmakers, jewelers, painters, and potters.

Three Bears Acres continues the fun with hayrides and corn cannons, and is giving a free pumpkin to every child this fall Wednesdays through Saturday s. Admission is $15 for children
over three years of age and $8 for adults.
Looking for spooky attractions to see with the family? Theater in the Park is putting on Dracula in their Pullen Park Theater October 6th through 16th Thursdays through Sundays at 7:30 pm. Featuring the infamous Ira David Wood III, you’ll want to make sure you purchase tickets for Dracula ahead of time; last year’s shows sold out! Cost of tickets is $24 for adults and $18 for seniors, students, and members of the military.
Oakwood Cemetery is offering flashlight tours as part of Downtown Raleigh’s October First Friday on the 7th. Three different themed tours are available at no cost to you (though a $5 donation is suggested). Just send an email to to reserve your spot!
To cap off the month, Lafayette Village is offering free trick-or-treating with their merchants October 29th in celebration of Halloween from 2-6 pm, ending with a movie on The Green. The North Carolina Museum of Art is also celebrating Halloween that night with a movie party starting at 6:30 pm. The event will feature creepy portraits, a professional Halloween makeup workshop, cocktails and food trucks, and fortunetelling prior to showing What We Do in the Shadows at 9 pm (Beware, this movie is rated R). Admission is $10 for museum members, children 7-18, and college students with ID; the price for non-members is $13.
