Home Prices Rise More Than Six Percent In October

Home prices rose 6.3% in October over the same month last year; this marks the eighth consecutive year-over-year jump in home prices nationally, according to CoreLogic. This is also the largest increase since June 2006. The dwindling supply of homes continues to help push prices upwards, the country is currently showing a 5.4 month supply; a six-month supply is considered a balanced market.
