The prospering Triangle area recently claimed the seventh spot on the 2017 U.S. News & World Report Best Places to Live in the USA list that touts the likes of Austin, Denver, Washington, D.C., and Boston.
“Time after time, our Triangle area proves itself to be among the top places in the nation to live, establish and grow a career, and enjoy all that life has to offer,” said David Jones, President and COO for Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston. “This area has the sought-after jobs and a low cost of living that people want, an important combination that is nearly impossible to find in other popular metro areas.”
U.S. News & World Report’s analysts reviewed the top 100 largest metro areas in the country to present the best-of-the-best list. According to the report, Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill earned an overall score of 7.2 out of 10 for the area’s desirability, value, job market, quality of life and ability to attract new residents. The area’s brimming business landscape, recreation and cultural offerings and growing restaurant and brewery scene were among the variety of factors that gave the Triangle a leg up on the competition.
