We are very proud to announce that Laurie Marcey, a sales associate in our Cary office, has been named to the Coldwell Banker Real Estate 30 Under 30 list. This prestigious list encompasses the top young real estate professionals among the 86,000 Coldwell Banker professionals working in 43 countries around the world. This group of real estate professionals honors the heritage of the Coldwell Banker founders, Colbert Coldwell and later Arthur Banker, who started their company at ages 24 and 28, respectively.
“It is quite an honor to be recognized as one of the top young agents in the entire Coldwell Banker network,” said Marcey. “Real estate has always been on my radar as my mother is also in the business. Through her work, I saw the unlimited potential the industry holds and have been excited to commit my time and energy into helping my clients succeed. I enjoy what I do and it shows.”
Marcey, 28, was honored for her successful 2014 production including 19 closings totaling $3.8 million in sales volume, an increase of more than 100 percent over her previous year. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from North Carolina State University in 2010. She is an avid Ultimate Frisbee player and is involved with the Triangle Flying Disc Association, Triangle Rock Club and USA Ultimate. Marcey has been affiliated with Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston since November 2012.
“We applaud Laurie for earning this outstanding recognition from Coldwell Banker,” said Josh Swindell, Vice President and Broker-in-Charge of Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston’s Cary office. “This monumental achievement sets her apart from thousands and thousands of tremendous real estate professionals in the entire Coldwell Banker brand. She is already on her way to another great year of growth. Her future is bright.”
The Coldwell Banker organization will honor Marcey at its international Generation Blue Experience in Chicago, Ill. on Sept. 16-18.
