There are just a few hours left to purchase tickets to The Cookery’s Fall Harvest Farmer Veteran Dinner! The Cookery is an awesome culinary incubator in Durham that offers certified kitchen space for rent by the hour, and doubles as a lovely event venue in its Front Room space. For the Fall Harvest dinner The Cookery is teaming up with Chef Joy Crump of Top Chef and Foode restaurant in Virginia and Mattie Beason and John Eisensmith of Six Plates in Durham to create a delicious menu highlighting North Carolina’s fall harvest.
All proceeds benefit the Farmer Veteran Coalition and their value-added label program Homegrown by Heroes. AND! The menu will feature meat and vegetables produced by local veteran farmers. There will also be a screening of the Farmer Veteran trailer, a forthcoming feature-length documentary film by Vittles Films!
