Raleigh has topped Forbes’s list of the Best Places For Business 2014. Forbes rated the 200 largest metro areas in the U.S. on a dozen factors related to jobs, costs (business and living), income growth, quality of life and education of the labor force. Based on all of this data, they dubbed Raleigh as the top spot. Some of the highlighted factors included the fact that the cost of doing business in Raleigh is 18% below the national average and a high population of of college-educated residents.
