The farm-to-table movement is coming to Wake Forest this month courtesy of the Giorgios Hospitality Group. The Giorgios Hospitality Group are the folks behind such area favorites as Bin Fifty-Four and City Kitchen in Chapel Hill and Vin Rouge in Durham, among others across the Triangle. Farm Table will feature fresh farm-to-fork cuisine, North American-made wines and local craft beer when it opens. Farm Table will be located in the old Girasole Trattoria space at 960 Gateway Commons, and it will share a kitchen with next door neighbors Gatehouse Tavern, which is also owned by the Giorgios Hospitality Group. Honoring the work that goes into raising and growing the produce the restaurant will use is important to the owners, and menus will even feature QR codes that when scanned by a smartphone will take diners to each farm’s website. The menus will be on a seasonal rotation, ensuring that their dishes will feature what is currently tasting best! Click here to read more about Farm Table!
