We have already explored some of 2014′s home decor trends, which included the use of metallic accents in a variety of spots. Gold-toned fixtures and hardware have been popping up in some very fashionable kitchens and baths. Looks run the gamut from Old World-charming to super sleek and modern. In addition to faucets and drains, gold tones are being used in hardware like knobs and drawer pulls and even light switch covers. Gold can be a way to add a bit of glamour to your kitchen or bath, but we would advise moderation or getting a bit of help from a pro to avoid the “Trump Effect”!
