Calling all cinema buffs: a record-breaking 73 films will be screened this weekend at the Carrboro Film Festival. The festival received triple the amount entries this year, and expanded to two days to accomodate the growing participation. The films are from North Carolina and beyond, with this year being the first time international and feature-length narrative and documentary movies are screened. Genres range from documentaries to drama and comedy, as well as animation and experimental pieces. There will also be two free workshops on visual effects and 3D animation.
