In the wake of the holiday madness you may be on the lookout for a good family-friendly activity to keep everyone occupied (and out of the house)! The HighSchool OT.com Holiday Invitational Tournament has been a post-Christmas mainstay in Raleigh since 1972, when it began as an 8-team boys basketball tournament featuring high schools from around North Carolina. The Tournament has grown into one of the most competitive in the nation, featuring some of the top up-and-coming talent from 20-boys teams and 8-girls teams from around the country squaring off in the Triangle.
Boys games are held in Broughton’s Holliday Gym, girls games are held at Cary Academy; play begins on December 26th at 12:40 PM and on December 27,28, and 29th at 11 AM. The final game of each night is scheduled to tip at 9 PM. Tickets for the Tournament are sold on game-day only, first-come, first-serve, and are good for the full day of games. Visit the website here for full scouting profiles, schedules and brackets, and ticketing information.
Tickets are $12 per adult per day and $6 for children (10 and under). Parking is free but limited.
