Home Prices Rose In July By Most In Six Years

The outlook is brightening for the Real Estate market. The trend of positive news continued this week with the release of new data from the Case-Shiller index as well as CoreLogic and other outlets. According to the data from CoreLogic, home prices showed a five-month increase in both monthly and year-over-year prices. In fact, of the 100 cities surveyed by CoreLogic only 23 cities showed year-over-year declines in July, which was down even from June.The Case-Shiller index reported that 16 of the 20 cities measured, and both indices as a whole showed gains; representing its first annual increase in two years.
